a big different between that materials for using helmet manufacturing.Offcourse many manufactures will not tell there customer that points, but you have to know some parts of different:

Helmets out of Polycarbonat is not allowed to paint or to print stickers ! Polycarbonat helmets are much more sensitively against UV Light !Polycarbonat helmets usally shoud be destroyed after 4 years cause after that periodethe saftey of the helmet is less !Carbon-Fiber Helmets :1.can be painted2. can be patched with stickers3. have a long safety periode of minimum 10 years !
